Our History
The church was established here in Busana 15 years ago, it was a combined effort of many brethren from the brotherhood here in Uganda, we were the only baptist church in this huge fertile gospel area, by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have managed to plant other baptist congregations in these rural areas.
The Baptist churches of Uganda, have their origin in an American Mission of the International Missions Board in 1963. It was officially founded in 1974. According to a census published by the Baptist Association of Uganda in 2023, there are 1,800 baptist churches and 550,000 members.
